About Calories Burned Calculator
How It Works
Calories burned are estimated using Metabolic Equivalent of Task (MET) values multiplied by your body weight and exercise duration. Different activities have different MET values: walking (3.5), running (8-12), cycling (6-10).
How to Interpret Results
The estimate shows how many calories you likely burned during your selected activity. Actual burn depends on intensity, body composition, and individual efficiency. Use this as a general guide for tracking exercise energy expenditure.
Health Tips
Combine different activities for balanced fitness. Increase exercise intensity gradually to avoid injury. Remember that exercise calories are estimates, so avoid eating back all calories burned.
Limitations
Individual movement efficiency varies, so two people doing the same activity may burn different amounts. MET values are averages and may not reflect your personal intensity level.
