About Lifespan Estimator

How It Works

This tool estimates life expectancy using established actuarial and epidemiological data. Starting from a base life expectancy of ~80 years (roughly the global average), it applies adjustments based on known risk factors and protective factors drawn from population health studies.

Factors Included

Gender, smoking status, physical activity level, body weight (BMI), parental longevity, marital status, and chronic disease history. Each factor is weighted based on its documented impact on life expectancy from peer-reviewed research.

Important Caveats

This is a simplified educational model. Actual lifespan is influenced by hundreds of genetic, environmental, and lifestyle factors. The estimate should not be taken as a medical prediction. The best way to improve your outlook is through evidence-based lifestyle modifications.
